copyIMG_2075Hi! My name’s Jodi, I’m a mum, wife, gym junkie and a massive foodie! Not just any old foodie though, it’s got to be nutrient dense, healthyifying (did I just make that up?!) and most of all absolutely sublime! My food philosophy is simple: I eat real food, as whole and unprocessed as possible; some raw, some cooked – with the help of a Thermomix – keeping it modern & easy to boot.

After forging my own (and ongoing) personal health path, I’ve worked out that my body responds best to a combination of the Paleo principles and Weston A Price Foundation (WAPF) traditional foods. A Paleo lifestyle is basically lots of locally sourced colourful fruits and vegetables; grass-fed (& finished) meat; nuts and seeds as well as natural fats and sweeteners. While WAPF is very similar, it also incorporates a lot of fermented foods, soaked and sprouted grains, nuts & seeds and lots of natural saturated fats like BUTTER! Here at Hot Pink Chilli, I combine my blazing passion for cooking with my devotion to nutrition & wellness bringing you my collection of recipes that will delight your palette, nourish your family and feed your soul!

As well as indulging my inner domestic goddess, I supplement my foodie lifestyle with lots of heavy lifting in the weights room, some running and interval training.
