Raw Snickers Bars

So these are amazeballs, let’s just get to it already. I mean, within an hour of receiving the email from Changing Habits with this recipe in it, I had already whipped up a batch for dessert for Jewish New Year – Rosh Hashanah. (That’s how long I’ve been meaning to post this for. Since last September! Happy belated New Year all my fellow Jewish friends!) 😉

Raw Snickers should rule the world

  • 210g / 2 C Almond meal
  • 100g / 1/2 C Coconut Oil
  • 40g / 4 Tbsp Inca Inchi Protein or peanut flour or a good quality grassfed whey
  • 15g / 1/4 C desiccated coconut
  • 60g / 3 Tbsp Coconut Nectar, honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • Vanilla Bean scraped or 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  1. Melt coconut oil and coconut nectar together
  2. Add other base ingredients and press into a lamington tin with wet fingers

  • 1/2 C cacao liquor
  • 2 Tbs coconut nectar / Maple syrup
  • 2 Tbs Coconut Oil
  • 1 C of chopped nuts (I used cashews but roast peanuts would work really well too!)
  1. Melt Coconut oil and cacao liquor gently together, add coconut nectar and make sure they’re well emulsified.
  2. Pour evenly across the base, use your spatula to ensure and even cover (but keep some to lick afterwards. You can thank me later)
  3. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, chill for a couple hours until set and then run a mile where you can eat the entire batch on your own. Take a bucket though. The whole batch might be a bit rich.  share with your friends and family… *sigh* always taking the higher road…

Best bite ever

Do you even raw snickers?
