Cacao Droplets

I seem to have an obsession with balls lately….but aren’t these pretty! Every third recipe requires rolling something into a ball shape and consuming it.

These Cacao Droplets are the simplest quick-fix snack I have made this holiday season. They are super fudgey and chewy (remove false teeth before consumption). Children would love to get their hands into this mixture and roll them into little balls for you – bonus! It is all so simple and, of course, healthy.

Cacao Droplets

  • 2C Almonds
  • 3/4C Cacao Powder
  • 1/2C Agave
  • 2Tbs water
  • 1/2C walnuts, chopped
  1. Throw the almonds into a food processor or Thermomix and blend until the almond turns into a paste.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and combine.
  3. Take approx tsp-sized mix and roll into little balls.
  4. Put in cute little cupcake moulds, or leave on their own and decorate with coconut, bee pollen, crushed dried banana or strawberries, etc.
  5. Keep in the fridge so they stay nice and firm.

I don’t need to tell you to “enjoy”, because I know you will.
